Duties and Responsibilities

Candidate Should provides the highest technical expertise for the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization’s server-class databases. Handles and leads the most complex or critical data/ database management initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including responsibility for database architecture, design, integration, and/or data modelling.  As the recognized technical expert, consults extensively with multiple client groups to provide strategic solutions, influencing long-range internal and enterprise-level data/ database architecture and management strategies. Serves as a consultant on technological advancements.  Provides oversight, mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff. May represent the organization as an external spokesperson.: 10+ years database design and administration experience.

Primary responsibilities for the individual in this role will be:

•     Responsible for designing, coding, and implementing software solutions based on business requirements.

•       Participating in Daily Update Meetings/Scrum calls

•    Evaluate requirements to provide feedback and estimates to complete work

•     Adhere to team standards, processes, workflows and schedules

•    Partner with Reporting and Data Technology Teams in implementing BI solutions

•          Approach development and production issues methodically

•      Must be comfortable working on multiple, complex issues and projects

•  Participate in production releases as required Required Qualifications

•  10+ years of PL/SQL experience

•      5+ years of database design & modelling experience

•    3+ years of ETL tools experience

•      2+ years of Reporting tools experience – SSRS/Tableau/OBIEE

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties: Provide hands-on development expertise to deliver technical solutions through computer and software programs, ensuring all errors are resolved and the desired results are produced. Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software and specialized utility programs, as well as analyze user needs, and develop software solutions; conduct and direct software testing and trials to ensure all programs and software applications will produce the desired information and results are correct and standards compliant; document technical software solutions through confluence and ensure programs are written in accordance to specific solution architectures; define and disseminate technology best practices to increase operating efficiency, reliability, and scalability for future requirements and growth; confer and collaborate with partner teams including creating, operations, and technical departments, to clarify program requirements, identify potential gaps, and recommend solution options or changes; analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design; partner with users of the software to understand usage patterns and challenges, and to ensure a proactive pursuit of new solutions or improvements to increase adoption of software solutions.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering plus five (5) years’ experience as Software Developer, Java Developer, Systems Analyst, Programmer or related position. Willing to accept a foreign educational equivalent.

Skills required: Programming Languages (Java, J2EE [JDBC, JNDI, Struts, spring, Java Beans,JSP, Servlets]). Architectural oversight for the front-end (JavaScript & MVC frameworks).XML technologies (XML and XSLT). Front end technologies (HTML, JSP). Database designing skills(SQL,PL/SQL, Oracle, Sybase),establishing best practices & guidelines, and active hands-on development with a focus on reusability and consistency.
